Scooter Skate understands that a great shopping experience doesn’t end at the checkout. That’s why we offer tailored delivery services to suit your individual needs, ensuring that your new mobility aids arrives at your home with the same care and quality with which it was selected and purchased. All orders placed and paid before cut off time 3:00 pm will be shipped out same day for a next day courier delivery and we use Royal Mail fully tracked for your peace of mind but please allow 2-3 working days as deliveries are dependent upon the courier. We only ship Monday through Friday. Any in-stock orders placed Friday through Sunday will ship the following Monday.

We will deliver your mobility aids to the address you specify for delivery in your order. It is important that this address is accurate. If there is no one in to receive your goods the courier will either redeliver the following day or leave a calling card. We cannot accept any liability for any loss or damage to the goods once they have been delivered in accordance with your delivery instructions (unless this is caused by our negligence). We will aim to deliver the goods by the date quoted for delivery but delivery times are not guaranteed. If delivery is delayed due to any cause beyond our reasonable control, the delivery date will be extended by a reasonable period and we will contact you to arrange an alternative time.

Shipping Insurance

We are responsible for the safe delivery of your parcel only during transit. Once your package has been delivered and received, our shipping insurance will no longer be valid. Please note that shipping insurance covers the parcel while it is in transit and does not extend once delivery is completed.

Additionally, shipping fees are non-refundable, even in the case of returns or cancellations.

Signed for deliveries

All electric scooter and hoverboard orders are sent via a courier of our choice, and we may change the couriers we use without notice, although the level of service will always be equivalent. All electric scooter and hoverboard deliveries will need to be signed for, whether by yourself, household member or a neighbour.

Failed deliveries

If you are away from the delivery address and a neighbour cannot sign for your delivery, then our chosen courier will contact you or leave a card with details of how to arrange a redelivery, or collection from the local depot.
The item will be returned to Scooter Skate if the courier unsuccessfully attempts to deliver the order to you on three occasions.

Returned items will be added back into our stock and your account credited with the order total. You will need to re-order your item to have it re-shipped.

Incorrect delivery details

Scooter Skate cannot be held responsible if a customer inputs any incorrect address details on their order, which causes the item to be delivered incorrectly. The customer assumes full responsibility for all delivery details supplied at point of order.
If you think that you have entered incorrect delivery details after placing an order, please contact our customer service team as quickly as possible with your order number so that we can help to rectify the issue.

Order Tracking

Once you’ve placed an order, you will receive an Order Acknowledgement email to confirm your order details. Once your item ships, you will receive a Shipment Confirmation email including your order number, the carrier’s information, the date and time the order was placed, the status of the order, and package tracking numbers for items that have shipped. For the exact locations of your shipment, please track your items on the carrier’s website.
