Thank you for shopping at Scooter Skate. While we strive to ensure the highest quality in our mobility aids products, we understand that issues may arise. Please read our policy carefully to understand how we handle returns and refunds.

Returns Policy

Any product(s) purchased from Scooter Skate may be returned for up to 30 days after the original delivery date. Returns are not allowed after 30 days of the delivery date and products being returned must meet the following conditions:

  1. The products have not been used and arrive intact, must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn, unused, the scooter or bike must have less than ten (10) kilometers on the display, it and must include all items that were inside the box (charger, keys, tools, hardware, etc.)
  2. The return request is sent to us within 7 days of receipt via support@scooterskate.co.uk.
  3. Proof of Purchase: A receipt or proof of purchase is required.
  4. The products are in their original packaging and are delivered to us with a return shipping label (provided by Scooter Skate after confirming the return request).
  5. If you choose to send it back by yourself, you need to contact us within 24 hours and provide the tracking number.

Refund Policy

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded to your original payment. Please remember it can take some time for your bank to process the refund. The customer must bear the cost of the return shipping.

Damages & issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us within 48 hours if the item is defective, damaged, missing a component or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

If you believe the item you have received is faulty, you must send a proof of the fault either by sending a video or a photo or bringing the product into store for inspection. Most items we sell may require some basic set up such as

  1. Brake adjustment
  2. Pumping air into tyre
  3. Basic assembly

These are part of routine maintenance and are not considered “faults” and therefore we do not consider these complaints.

Range and speed are dependent on riders’ weight, road surface, wind, riding style and ambient temperature. The range and speed advertised are simply indicative manufacturers’ figures tested on a straight smooth surface, riding at low speed assuming an average rider weighting 60-70kg.

Cancellation

If you wish to cancel your order, then let us know within 60 minutes of making an order. Unfortunately, after this time we are unable to make any changes to your order before it is dispatched. Full refund minus the shipping fee will be credited back to your original payment within 3 business days. Please note once we have dispatched an item(s) to you, the item cannot be cancelled, and the below returns process comes into effect with their respective charges.

Warranty Policy

We provide 1 year limited UK warranty for any electric scooter purchased through us. We hold most of the spare parts in the UK and we have an extensive experience in repairing them. We do provide fast turnaround of two days if the replacement parts are in stock, otherwise it may take up to 2 weeks to get it shipped to us from our suppliers.

Please note that for repair we might use both genuine and aftermarket parts.

Our warranty cover includes:

  • 1 year full UK warranty on vehicle body
  • 6 month full UK warranty for the battery
  • 30 days full UK warranty for other electronics

Please note that we do provide warranty service only if your scooter develops a fault through normal use (as per manufacturers manual) and if the scooter has been not altered in any way.
